ALMA Sistemi delivers one of the largest satellite transport containers ever built in cooperation with Thales Alenia Space and Garofoli SpA


ALMA Sistemi Srl and Garofoli SpA, in cooperation with Thales Alenia Space, have delivered one of the largest satellite transport containers ever manufactured.


This container was developed for the Thales Alenia NEOSAT satellite series and features impressive dimensions: 13.0 x 5.4 x 4.2 meters (L x W x H).


The engineering was carried out by ALMA Sistemi and the container was manufactured at Garofoli’s workshop in Terni, Italy. It has now been shipped by sea from Civitavecchia Harbour to Thales Alenia’s facility in Cannes.
