CLIMA Final Conference

Cultural Landscape Risk Identification, Management and Assessment

From 17 to 18 May 2018, Alma Sistemi took part in the final conference of the CLIMA Project (Cultural Landscape Risk Identification, Management and Assessment), hosted at Palazzo Patrizi Clementi in Rome.

The event brought together international experts and institutional partners to present the final outcomes of the CLIMA project, which focused on developing strategies to monitor and preserve archaeological landscapes and cultural heritage sites at risk.

The project addressed threats related to climate change and other environmental pressures, by applying an integrated methodology based on remote sensing, GIS tools and data analysis.

Three case studies were carried out in Italy (Falerii Novi), Scotland (Antonine Wall), and Cyprus (Nea Paphos), offering a comparative perspective on risk management in diverse European contexts.

Alma Sistemi contributed to the development of the digital platform and participated in the conference as a technical and scientific partner.
